Medicine for Humanity is undergoing a capital campaign to raise funds towards the creation of a space where women can heal in dignity: The Kupona “Hope” Ward for Women in Uganda.

The ward will contain 38 beds and ensure that Medicine for Humanity patients will NEVER again have to convalesce on the floor while healing from surgery.

We broke ground at 70% funded and are actively campaigning to raise an additional $25,000 knowing that, as with any construction project, there are likely to be unexpected costs that arise.
