Medicine for Humanity is healing women and training doctors in Uganda.

Medicine for Humanity continues to THRIVE because of YOUR support!

We have extended the training for our inaugural Urogynecology Leadership Fellow candidate, Dr. Paul Kato of Kampala, for a second year. The Fellowship program provides intensive surgical and leadership training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

We continue to build programs of support for women and mothers who suffer from the devastating effects of childbirth injuries. This is our passion and our focus. We have mobilized our medical team in Mbarara and created surgical outreach programs at Lira Regional Referral Hospital and Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Northern Uganda. Not only is it important to provide surgical services, but our future goal is developing a comprehensive post-operative rehabilitation program for our patients that addresses specific physical, social, economic, and mental/emotional challenges that impact postoperative healing and reintegration into society.

Your GENEROSITY enables us to continue our work healing women and training doctors.

THANK YOU for creating a sustainable impact on the future of women’s health in Uganda.
